Questions

Frequently asked

Who can submit?

Anyone doing rigorous work on Bangladesh — university faculty, students, independent researchers, NGOs and government analysts. Early-career researchers are especially welcome.

Can I submit work that is already published?

Yes. We publish accessible summaries of peer-reviewed papers and preprints, linking to the original. Please check that your publisher allows a summary and the charts to be shared.

Who owns the work?

You do. We publish it under CC BY 4.0, which lets anyone share and reuse it as long as they credit you and DEEPLAB.

What makes a strong submission?

A clear question, a reliable data source we can cite, and a finding that matters for policy in Bangladesh. Charts and tables help, but we can build them with you.

Can I share my data instead of a paper?

Yes — choose “Dataset” as the type and link to the data with a note on where it comes from.
